Along with Book covers, I am a big fan of illustrating for children. Below is an example of a book I illustrated as well as other illustrative projects for children I have done, including my own project Alice and Toby.
ILLUSTRATED BOOK: $1750 (prices CAN vary based off of time and detail, but will be discussed on a individual client basis), for a full-colored illustrated book and print ready book up to 10 hand illustrated pages. For any additional illustrated pages over the 10, the cost is $150 per illustration there after.

COST INCLUDES: 1 high quality PDF print ready version of the book ready for press; 1 digital version of the book; 1 image for every 10 illustrations for your needs in promotional material as needed; 1 designed cover to match including branding of book. (too see more visit link below).
I do REQUIRE half of the total book design cost as a down payment and your copy of the contract signed before beginning work.
If you are interested in having me illustrate a book for you I will need the following information
(as well as payment and contract signed) sent to: nimbiportland@gmail.com:
- Please send me a copy of your book, or at least the 10 pages you want illustrated with a synopsis of each page. Including character names and physical descriptions.
- Title of your book, including any other information: author name, subtitle, book version, series name, etc.
- To help me grasp what style you like, please send me 5-10 examples of current covers you absolutely love. Note that, for illustration, I have my own style, and I can modify it, but that I tend to stick to certain mediums and have certain styles of my own, that make my illustrations unique from others.
- Help me see who your characters are in your mind, pictures of people or children I can modify and cartoonize.
- Your timeline. When do you NEED to have the book done by? Whats your book release date goal. Please allow AT LEAST 60 days for a full book. If you need your book done before then, I more than likely won’t be able to complete it sooner than 60 days, so please contact me so we can discuss your wants/needs and see if anything less than 60 days is doable.
From all this information we can come up with a book together, that will be uniquely your own, will stand out in a book store online or on a shelf next to its competition. And will truly capture your story and the hearts of lil’ ones.
